Family Session
Held on Saturday evening between 7.00pm and 9.00pm. It is a gentle session and all children, 16 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Skate Sessions
Monday & Thursday evenings, Saturday & Sunday mornings and Tuesday 4.00pm-6.00pm are for those wearing figure and hire skates only, making a relaxing skate with music.
Discos
With our resident DJ playing all the latest hits are held every Wednesday and Friday evening between 7.00pm and 9.00pm. Bank Holiday Monday evenings throughout the year also provide an opportunity to join in the disco fun.
Group Tuition
Available for 5-15 year olds via the Polar Club Saturdays, 9.30am-10.00am and Rookie Club (for young hockey skaters) Fridays, 6.15pm-7.00pm.
Adult skaters may take advantage of 6 sessions of tuition on Sunday morning between 9.30am and 10.00am.

Training Ice
Gives potential and existing ice skaters the opportunity to practice in a less busy environment. For more details contact skating coaches via the rink on 0191 291 1000.
Birthday Parties
Held during any of our public sessions are an ideal way of celebrating the occassion in style. For the required price, a minimum of 10 children (or adults!) will be accommpanied by a party helper (for a skating or bowling party) and enjoy a fun experience, followed by a party meal with soft drink in a special room. A special private bowling party for only £45 is also available Mondays to Fridays, for one and a half hours between 2.00pm and 6.00pm in term time. Food, either a buffet or a hot meal, is available at an extra charge.
Private hire is available on request.
Other times may be available after consultation with management.

Ice Hockey games are held on certain Sunday evenings from September through until March/April. Please refer to the fixtures list provided under Whitley Warriors, to ascertain when games will be hosted, in which case, Sunday evening skating sessions will be cancelled.
